How do I leave one object color and the rest B&W

Could you tell me how to get a black and white picture to have one or more objects come out in color. Or a black and white picture with a small amount of color in a persons cheeks or eyes?

This is called selective coloring. I've got Elements 3 so it might be a little differint for you. First, when you take the photo, you need to take it in color. Then, in PS you need to make a copy of the layer(Layer>New>Layer Via Copy). Make the top layer B&W/Sepia(depending on which you want). Then select what you want to make color with one of the lasso tools or the magic wand, then erase it, and the color will shine through.
