Copyright marking of photos

How do I copyright protect and mark my photos? Are there websites out there dealing with this?Is there a way to have a hidden "watermark" on your photos?

If you live in the US, the web site is www.copyright.gov . Really the photo is copyrighted to you as soon as you press the shutter realease. But to help enforce it you can register your photo with the copyright office. When you say "hidden watermark", do you mean something that stops them from printing it? If so, I don't think there is, but in an editing program you can stamp your copyright info on a photo.
