How to shoot gymnastics Tonight (Friday) I'm off to the World Gymnastics Championships (women's all around final), which is on in the Rod Laver Arena (where the Australian Open tennis is played). I'll be sitting in about the 10th row. I have my trusty new Canon 350D (Rebel XT), with kit lenses including 55-200mm. (I'm saving for better lenses!) I'm after any tips for successfully taking action shots indoors where tripod and flash use are out. My thoughts are: Focus set on Al servo, shutter speed minimum 1/500 even if that means high ISO, white balance on fluoro, partial metering (?). Or do you think I'm just wasting good spectating time trying to take photos with the lenses I have? Any advice gratefully received! (PS Happy thanksgiving to all who are celebrating it...)

Cancel that query! Just realised that cameras are not allowed in the arena. Oh well, I'll just have to sit back and enjoy the sport... :o)
