Photography Question

Trish N. Bland

natural looking lights

I do a lot of children's portraiture, and up until now have used natural light, and have been very happy with it. However, the weather is turning cold, and I am unable to shoot in the setup that I am accustomed to. I purchased two Britax continuous lights, but am not happy at all after practicing with these. I really want something that mimics as closely as possible natural light. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Might not be the lights but
what how you're using them and with what kind of modifier, if any.

  Trish,
No help on the lights from me,I am looking myself. I just took a peek at your gallery...you did all that with natural light? what about the shots with the black and white backgrounds, were they outdoors? that is awesome work without lighting. Do you use a flash at all? Oh, and what is that black setting you have that is reflective...love that. great work!
