There are some very good images in your gallery. I especially love pure cowgirl and trick or treat. You certainly are good on your composition because the images are neat, not cluttered or distracting. I would show only one of an image, either the color or the black and white, because, though they were good images, I was completely lost as to having to choose which rendition I liked the most. Go with your gut and put your best images forward. Keep up the good work.

  welcome gina,
i'm not going to be as nice as christopher.although the witch girl and fountain was charming, many of your photos are blurry or out of focus and have too shallow depth of field.might be camera shake.might be intentional?
the little girl on the horse riding away from the camera?i think the very back of the saddle was in focus?
and i'm sure hoping you don't have a high powered rifle with a scope.
just my opinion,sam

Well, I'm no expert here, Gina, but I think you are doing a wonderful job. (you've only been doing this for a month?!?!)
It looks like you use a program to "soften" and touch up your photos. That's probably why there's the "blurry" look. I love the comp. & angles you use and the selective coloring is great also!
Keep up the great work!
Jen

  Gina,
I love your style. It's very natural.

About the blur thing...I did the same thing when I was starting out...I put way too much gaussion blur on EVERYTHING. I really love how you've composed your photographs. If you have only been doing this for a month, you definitely have a knack for it and should absolutely keep it up. Great job :).

Thanks Cyndee....I appreciate you taking the time to look at my photos. I will try to take a class sometime soon to learn more but for now I am just learning as I go. :)
