Macro attachments

Hi everyone, I have a canon 70-200 lens, I was wondering if the macro comes with attacments like your polarized lens that screws on.
are the attachments just as good as a macro lens?
does it turn your regular lens into a macro capable lens?
if so would you guys recomend to me, what rings I need?
there are different magnifications right?
i saw on ebay they sell them in three packs I think.
anyway, some background on these would be cool
thanx much!

  i didn't have much luck with those close up filters, they seem to make your sharpness drop really quick. I personally would recommend extension tubes because they don't affect the image any. there is light drop off, 1-2 stops maybe 3 depending how how much you stack. but it also depends on what your'e shooting, if you're going to be outdoors shooting butterflies and need the extra stops of light then they might be a tad better depending on how big you print. I blew one of my pics up to 11x14 and it almost looks as if I used a diffuser on it, which I didn't and I got lucky because it actually looks good but if I didn't want a soft effect then it would've been bad.

  The Close Up Filters Dont Work As Good As A Macro Lens But The B+W Ones Work Very Well,A Bit On The Pricey Side Though!Here Is The Link;

The B+W +10 Macro Lens Would Be What You Want Christine.
This lens has a diopter of +10 and a 100mm focal length. As it fills the frame of the 35mm format, life size to somewhat larger than life size pictures are possible.
