From what I've learned here, "on the job training" is best with any new process or practice. There are a number of tutorials on using Photoshop and other image-enhancing software but my best advice is to get it, play with it, learn the basics, and expand with its capabilities as you grow in knowledge and experience.

Thanks Bob. The more I use it the more I do learn.

Get a few good books, get a couple of videos on color correction, and sit in front of the computer and get into it. You have to do experiments scientifically, with a control file. You need to see what you are doing with each step. I can't remember the name of the videos, but I will try to email them tomorrow when I get to my office. Chuck

www.totaltraining.com Check out Deke Mc Clelland's training CD's. I'm slowly going through the PS 7 one and have picked up a lot of good tips along the way. I find it a little tedious to sit through much at a time, but then that's just me. I can't sit still for long no matter what.
