Margie, you have a lot of nice images in your gallery. It's always hard to tell if an image will place or not. I have more than one I have hopes in, but like you noted, it's all subjective and depends on the judges. I just thought it would be fun to take a crack at it and see if any of us accidentally agree with the judges :o)!

Ohhh I see where you're coming from! I get excited too! Can't help it. Same thing every month, but my husband is married to the History Channel so that works out well for me :D.

My personal favorite last month was kind of obscure and it will probably NEVER get picked, but it's the one image out of the dozen or so I posted last month that really "moved me" while at the scene...and also a few days later when I viewed it again on my monitor. I'm not going to reveal my preference here unless it makes the finals...(sorry).

I think you're ALL worthy winners but....wait and see :) But looking at how everyone is battling to upload pix that are ALREADY on the site, proves my point (that I'm not the only 'doff' one here!!!:) I wish there was an easier way - I'll also try now - but won't hold my breath! This thread reminds me of the one that ran last month :) PS the word 'dof' is a good South African word, actually Afrikaans, meaning 'thick'or 'stupid' (in a nice way though).... Hey Craig, if you're making coffee - filter for me, 1 brown sugar, and lotsa milk....:)

BEAUTIFUL photo's you all... THANKS Kerry..I really appreciate that kind comment!!! As for everyone else who is trying to upload a picture to this thread...Just a little help.... You have to be COMPLETELY signed into betterphoto with your e-mail address & password...THEN you type your message & at the bottom of the page you will see SELECT...click the drop down box & select 1 or however many pics you want to upload to this thread & then click submit...HOPE this helps those who are trying to upload a pic to the thread... If you aren't COMPLETELY signed in FIRST it won't work!!
