Printing

What is the best format for saving a photo for high quality printing. I save to a jpeg format for email and web pages.

A JPEG will print fine, IF it hasn't been edited too many times, and if its resolution matches what the printer needs. Every time you change a JPEG and save it, it's quality goes down. Also, folks tend to drop resolution to about 72, which won't print worth a hoot.
Keep JPEG for e-mail and the net. For print, and for archiving your images, save the original image as a TIFF, even if a digital camera originally shot it as a JPEG. Do everything you need to do to the image in the TIFF format, and archive it to CD ROM that way.
