Photography Question

Michael Warnock

online image resolution

Greetings. I'm not sure if this is the right forum for my question but here goes...I have put up a website with some pictures which were resized at 72dpi. They are between 200k and 400k jpeg files. Heres the thing. In Photoshop, image viewer etc they look great but the online they look like they're really low resolution. Kind of grainy. Copying the image from the site (right-click and save as) and viewing it in Paint, the image looks good. Can anyone shed some light on what I may have done wrong? Here is a link to one picture in particular... http://www.littleblueplanet.ca/michael_warnock_photo/mwp_gallery/sports/operation_evaporation.html
The person on the ground is rendered terribly and the climbers face and right shoe are also very poor quality. Any ideas?

Mike.

I have also uploaded the image to my gallery on this site. It looks fine here, but not so good on my website mentioned above.

Mike.
