I had some photos of my daughter taken in her dress (it was hand made and reached the ground). He positioned her on the right, turned sideways (facing left), propped up on a posing wedge or something like that. Then he let her dress fall and drape down the front. I'm sorry I don't have the picture to show, but I hope you get the idea. He also did a close-up shoulder shot. This showed the detail of the lace on her dress. Most parents really want pictures of the child, where you can really see their face, but always need at least one with the whole dress. If the baby's dress is only as long as their feet, I would prop them sitting up so you can see the whole dress, and they're facing forward. Hope that helps.

Yes, Thank you! It wasn't a big deal to this mom so I was lucky, but it's good to know for the next time.

I like the one where she is laying on her stomach. I just think if you would have proped her head to the side then you could have seen her face. Pretty dress.
