Hey All,

I took this shot of a Canal in Amsterdam, I hate the huge black sky, but I didnt see a way around that.

Ideas, opinions, suggestions?

Thanks!

I think that it looks fine as it is. But if the sky really does bother you, then I would try and crop it right above the building in the center.

I find the trees distracting... they look like noise/grain at first glance.

I'd try using a longer lens and shooting in the vertical plane so that the building in the center is near the top of the photo and the reflections fill the remainder of the frame.

I'd also try shooting this (horizontally) around sunset to get some color in the sky. A day when there are clouds with color would be great.
