How to deliver a Purchased Photo

This may be a silly question but I'm looking into the field of trying to sell photos and I am starting to slowly set up my gallery on BP. My qustion is; what is the best recommended way to deliver a photo to someone once is it purchased? CD or a different method? I've been reading in so many Forums my head is spinning at this point.

  Janice,
There's a big difference between a 'photo' or print and a CD. You need to at least ask your customer, if there is ANY doubt in your mind at all.
If your customer is a private individual buying a portrait, he/she would not want to hang a CD on the wall.
However, if you're selling limited or exclusive rights of an image to a commercial firm, they won't want a print - they'll want the master file.
What you deliver is strictly dependent upon the contractual (verbal or written) agreement between you and the customer. And this should have been discussed and agreed upon long before the time to deliver something.
