Buying Film Online I am a college student and would like to know the most cost efficient website to purchase black and white film (specifically Kodak T-Max) either in bulk or not in bulk. So, where do you buy your film?

Probably B+H as Bob mentioned. Also, do you mean bulk as in 100 ft. bulk rolls or bulk as in getting a discount for buying a 20 roll box?

B&H Photo and Video is probably the best online source. They are reputable and well known. But I advise you to find a local source. Not WalMart or anything like that. A Cmaera sales and repair store. If you are at a large campus, there should be one close by and they will have a greater selection, less cost (no shipping) and no risk of damage in the mail. Walrath Photographic Imaging

Hey there. I am taking a photo class at my university. When the semester started, I bought about 35 rolls of Kodak TMax 100ISO from B&H. The price was great and there wasn't any problem. I'm sure that the box could have gotten dropped off a 2 story house and the film would still be intact and fine with the huge clear padding things they put in their boxes. I wouldn't attempt this, it just seems as if the film probably won't be harmed. I've also bought Fuji Velvia slide film from them and all of it has been fine. While it's nice to support local businesses, the prices will usually be higher. The only thing that I've run into with buying so much film is that I went through a point where they kind of shooting I was doing required higher film speeds over very fine grain so I was forced to buy film locally.
