Am I just being a dorK?


I just purchased some diffusing umbrellas and they have yellow spots of discoloration. Will this affect the shot at all? Also, for matters of principal, should I take these back? They are supposed to be brand new.

Sorry, but I couldn't pass it up. If the spots are small and few in number they probably won't affect your photos. However, since they are new and are not in perfect condition, I would take them back. There is no need to accept something that is not in the condition you expect when you buy it.
