Confessions of a BP addict...... I thought all the "addicts" should have a proper place to confess. Hi everyone, my name is Kauline, and I am a BP addict... I have been addicted for only a short time but my addiction is getting worse daily. My husband only knows of about half the times I log on the Better Photo. He already thinks it's too much. Not to mention the time spent taking photographs and then processing time.... Here is my confession: Yesterday when I took my son to the public library, I signed up for 1/2 computer session to check if finalists had been posted yet. These computers are mostly meant for people who don't have one at home. But I do, and I was only at the library for an hour... Kauline I know there are many more like me out there.....Who's next..... ?

Hi all, my name is Nicole and I'm a serious BP addict! I check my email first thing when I wake up in the morning, first thing anytime I am on the computer, again before I log off the computer, sometimes while I'm on the computer doing other things and twice in the middle of the night when I get up with my son for his nightly feedings! I think I need help! ;)

What will we do if there IS no help? Maybe they could start some sort of a facility where we could all go to be deprogrammed.

I've 3 BP pages open, I'm checking equipment prices on the web, my emails open (just in case of a notification) and I've tried 3 times to go to bed.... As I've mentioned before, I too am an addict, although a closet addict. No one really knows (nor do I for that matter, because I lose count)how many times I hit my refresh button to see if I have an e-mail telling me that I am a first-time finalist. Since learning this wonderful art I keep hoping for that wonderful nod.

BP addict.... computer addict... you name it. I just joined a month or so ago & I'm on it CONSTANTLY!!! AND, I do it from my office at work!!! I log on in the morning, minimize the screen & every so often I open it back up, check the messages, check the new postings, pictures, etc. & don't log off until it's quitting time... I find everyones galleries an inspiration, the advice is helpful & the people are fantastic!!

My name is RAchel and yes I am an addict too.. I have checked for finalists so many times today I have lost count.. It drives my boyfriend mad and my daughter. I cant even take the dog for a walk with bringing my camera along! My daughter begged me to leave my camera at home when we went to the park last week, I just couldnt do it! I have even tried to get her addicted by giving her a camera! Anyway good luck I hope you all get a finalist!

I too must confess, I AM A BP ADDICT. I first noticed a dependence almost two years ago when this site was the first one I checked after logging on. Now it seems BP is the only reason to get on line ..morning, noon, and of course in the middle of the night. My husband is hopeful that I will one day recover and start cooking again.

Hi! I'm Christy and I'm a BP addict. And a bad mother! So, my 2 year old son has started saying the phrase "two minutes!", because that is what I say to him when he tries to get me off the computer. "Mommy will be there in 2 minutes, I just have to check my e-mail one more time." Do you think I'm doing permanent damage? Will I be hearing about this in therapy when he's sixteen?! UUGHGHGH! Hello again everyone, I must let you all know that I just managed to stay off the site for a whole hour to get dinner prepared.... Due to a family rule I must also eat at the table and talk about our day. I will likely mention this site, this post etc... several times. Kevin... I could kiss you for your post.
