Purchasing A Web Site at BP Can anyone give me information about whether it is worth it to purchase one of the web sites here? If so, is it better to start with a Premium or Deluxe? Does it increase your chances of winning a contest? Thanks in advance for the information. Linda

Very much so, I started with the free, then quickly realised that for $22 a year I would NEVER have the opportunity to show my pix to such a wide community. I've started selling a few pix, and when people ask to see some of my stuff, I just direct them to my URL. I don't think it'll enhance your chances of POTD or anything - but it gives you a great opportunity to get your name out there - have others browse and crit your work etc. I've a premium site and although we can uplift 300 pix, I'm trying to be selective and not fill it with just anything!

Thanks, Robyn for your quick response to my questions. I believe this to be a great value, too. I know I am very much the amateur photographer, and I cannot afford to take any of the classes yet. I am working full-time, plus working towards my Bachelor Degree in IT/Web Development. So, money is tight right now. I think I will purchase the $22 a year version for now. That will give me a chance to build on my skills while finishing my Bachelor Degree. Thanks again. Linda
