How to get raw in photoshop cs


I have been having problems trying to get Raw photos to open in Photoshop CS. I have a Canon EOS 350 camera. I've been taking photos in RAW but I have been unable to open because the file opens with MG when the camera is set on Adobe RGB which is not recognised in Photoshop. I've also taken pictures on SRGB settings which comes up with IMG which is not. recognised. Images show up in Canon software OK but I cannot convert.

  RAW is a proprietary file format, and is different for each camera maker. I don't think Photoshop CS comes with a RAW converter, but Adobe has a plug-in to add it:
