Entomology Specimens I have asked once or twice before, Bit I thought I'd ask again so this question was on here anew. I'm 15 and I live on the island of Oahu, Hawai'i, and have been into entomology for my entire life. I have been practicing photography for almost 3 years now as well. I was wondering if there was anyone out there that would be willing to send me Arthropod(bug) specimens from their region or places they've visited. They would need to be dead and/or preserved in some way, because of the incedibly strict import laws for animals to the Islands. I would be more than happy to pay for the s/h charges(I can't guarantee that I will buy ANYTHING that you offer, depends on what and from where of course) I am ESPECIALLY interested in mantids of all kinds. Please contact me if you are willing to do this even once. (though I know many of you are against killing even an insect, and I respect that, I'm just hoping that someone would be willing) Much Mahalo(thank you), hope to hear from you soon, -David

David, hello although I wont be sending you any creepy crawlies I wanted you to know I like your gallery your macro is fantastic, it gives people like me a chance to see bugs up close without worring if they are going to jump on me.

No problem Brenda, Im not seriously expecting any to do so, just asking in case, lol. mahalo for the compliments, macro has always suited me as a photographer, I've just never had the best equipment for it. I mean, I'm 15, I only have so much money, :P. Thanks again, -David
