Canon Camera I have a Canon A series digital camera. I have two memory cards. I cleared both out before I went on vaca. Got on vac and the camera does not recognize either memory card. It says "No memory Card". I look in my manual and tried to format. The format option is "unhighlighted" on the camera. It is not recognizing the cards at all. I have switched them a couple of times just to make sure.

When you "cleared them out" before you left, did you format them in the camera or on your computer? I've heard that formatting memory cards from your computer can cause problems, but I don't know if that would cause the problem you are describing. You might need to just head to a store and get a new memory card. Don't miss getting photos of your vacation!
