Photography Question

Agnes Ensbey

psf files

I have a cd of wedding images that are in psf. files. I would like to use some of the images to post on a website but I believe to do this, image files need to be jpeg, is this true? If so, how do I convert the psf.files into jpeg? Ultimately, my aim is to be able to use the wedding images for website use so whatever methods/solutions towards this end would be most appreciated. Many thanks, in advance.

Chances are that you would have to have the photo in JPEG. To change it in PS(or about any editing software), go to File>Save as. Then in format(right under file name), change it to JPEG. If you want to converte multiple files at once(in elements 3.0), go to File>Process Multiple Files... Then at the top select the file for the sorce and destination. Then clear at the bottom, check the box next to "Converte Files to:" then select JPEG Max/High/Medium/Low quality. You can also rename and resize photos with this.
