Model Releases for Pet Photography Is it necessary to obtain a model release from pet owners to use the images in contest, advertizing, display on a website or stock photography?

Dodie, Really yes- please make you sign in sheets or sitting jackets with a realease statement on the bottom-where they sign. this way you always have it. for now most likely you didi not get it- if it is of the Pet alone I would go ahead if it is for a contest here(read the rules and terms), if the display is for your own use. I have done it before- but please if you have any way of getting it then THAT would be best. i do hope this helps,
