inserting film When I ensert my file its supposed to wind all the way to the end and count down as you take the pictures. As soon as I ensert the film and close the back it is automatically sucked into the film cartridge. Does anyone know how to fix this problem or know what causes it???

EOS Rebel? Are you sure you've pulled enough film so that the end reaches the take-up reel (red mark on the right side of the opened back)? I could be wrong, but I think if you don't pull enough out and the take-up reel can't grab it, it'll switch to rewind.

I've ruined about 5 rolls, which now I know I can fix to use again. But, yes I have even rolled it past some to see if that works. And nothing, it still rolls back inside the film roll. I have also pulled it just straight across. Nothing I have tired has worked. Thanks for the quick response.
