Wayne, Seems to good to be true personally. I don't know where they get those prices from but I'm a firm believe in you get what you pay for so I'm thinking they will screw us somehow. I personally wouldn't buy from them, but it's ultimately your decision. .justin.

They DO engage in illegal practices. I almost bought a Canon G6 from them and they called me to suggest I also order a battery and charger (at a price in excess of the difference between "Bestprice"'s offer and the next highest). I told them it was included in the box based on representations from two other dealers and the canon website. Best Camera first tried to tell me one of the other dealers sold refurbished cameras and when I contradicted him on this he said that if another dealer offered the camera with battery and charger I should buy from that dealer. So I did.

I found one of those websites...can't remember which one exactly...and I called them to get information. They told me that the camera had a japanese LCD screen. They also said there was no manual and no manufacturer's warranty. I'd rather pay the extra $ thank you very much.

Their web site says " Everything we sell is BRAND NEW and FACTORY FRESH * Everything we sell comes with a full US WARRANTY * Low flat rate shipping Their shipping is a flat rate 6% which is really high but they had a Canon 20D for $800 and $48.00 isn't bad in all. I'm just a little skittish unless someone says they have had good results from them. They must be repacking.

After I wrote my earlier response I did a little web search out of curiosity and price.com has a long list of customers who had problems similar to mine. Check the Canon site or Beach Camera for what is supposed to come with the 20D and then call Best Price (1-800-281-1724) --you can even ask for Ben at extension 258 if you want to get a real person--and ask him what comes in the box. My guess is you'll find its not such a good deal
