What are some good 35mm slide films to use for scenic, landscape photography?

This is much a matter of personal preference due to variation in color accuracy, contrast and saturation. Ask 10 photogs what films to use and you will get 20 different answers. :)

For very high resolution landscapes and scenics, three of the more popular films among the photogs I know are:
Kodachrome 64
Fuji Velvia 50 (a pro film in the U.S.)
Fuji Provia 100F (a pro film)

Other films used for this include:
Fuji's Sensia (ISO 100)
Kodak's Elitechrome 100
[pro version is E100S]
Kodak's Elitechrome 100 Extra Color
[pro version is E100VS]

Note:
Elitechrome 100 Extra Color (E100VS) and Provia are super-saturated. As a result they easily render horrid skin tones. As such they are not "general purpose" films and should not be used if you have people as subjects or in the foreground.
