I am happy to say I beleive I have finally gotten over my fears of feeling like I am not ready for making this a career, and of failing and not being able to "hang with the big dogs". I do finally feel like I am good enough and my work is worth buying, worth passing up the cheep deals at walmart and paying a higher price. I have decided to try and use the suggested site mpix for producing my prints, I am ready to advertise and start pulling in clients! I want to send a giant thanks to all of the fellow photographers who have encouraged and guided me in the right direction through these forums. I cant say enough for all of you and this site, my work has improved by leaps since I became a regular member of Beterphoto. I was looking through some of my work and what I have done over the past 6 months or so is so much better then it was that you wouldnt even think the same phoographer did them! I have a job for senior portraits coming up, I would like to buy something nice to display them in to send them out to the customer in so she can show them off. Something inexpensive but also a nice display. Any suggestions?
