I always forget that the first thing I should do after opening this website is "sign in" on the left of the opening page. That way, when I ask a question and try to include a photo, it doesn't ask me to sign in again, accept my question, but not include the photo....then I have to add the photo and a further explanation....:-)

Okay, I'll try again. The website must've been slow uploading your pic as I was reading your question and responding. I apologize. Cute snap. I don't know about your camera. Try to spot focus on the cat's nose (the whole pic looks blurry on my monitor), the metal in the upper right is a distraction, but the fence and table in front and bottom right are fine. I wish BP had a class for warm/fuzzy critiquing..:-)

My monitor presents a fuzzy image, too. or, is the pic out of focus? Hard to tell.

Why not try using the Unsharp Mask to see if you can fix up the whole image?

You might also try cropping tighter, losing the table on the right an eliminating most of the leaves. Leave just enough for framing. Place the cat using rule of thirds, at least left or right.

I might also try to lighten the kitten up a little, I think that it blends in to much with the trees so it hard to see at first, the first thing you end up looking at is the table, but thats just my oppinion!!! Cute picture though!!

I agree with John... a tigher crop will get rid of all the distractions. Do you have a program to fix photos like Photoshop? You can sharpen in there! Cute snap though!

I love kitty's, but there is nothing in focus in this shot. Tripod is a must in low light and faster shutter speed is also another good thing. Any chance of a reshoot?
