Photography Question

How do you build a photo composite?

I would like to learn how to build simple composites for babies, seniors, etc. I know there are templates available but would like to do some of my own....any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Assuming you have PS, you first need to define your sizes.
1. Open a new file to the paper size you want for the final print.
2. Open all the images you want to include, and size them according to what you want.

Note - in steps 1 & 2, be sure your resolution/ppi is the same for each.

3. Drag the images to the new file you opened, then drag them around the file until you get a composite you like.

This is as simple as it gets, but it certainly works, and will get you off the ground.

If all your composites are going to be the same or similar, you can place Guide lines on your master file, and simply drag the image to the predetermined guides.
Your images can overlap or not, be different sizes or not, and have drop shadows and beveled edges or not, etc, etc, etc.
The sky's the limit once everything is sized correctly.
