Photography Question

Rachel Putnam

lighting

I am doing a wedding later this year and am trying to get all the equipment I will need. I have a Canon Digital rebel XT as well as studio lighting, but I am looking for a light meter, does it matter if the camera is digital or 35mm? I have an old Lunasix by Gossen but I am not sure if that will work for me or not? Please help.

  I have a 10D and a MinoltaIII light meter.
Its not worth using a meter with the 10D.
The mesurments are not accurate besides the best meter is right on the back of the 10D.

First, you need a camera. You have the Rebel XT

Second, you need a flash [not one built in, cause it's too small.

Third, you need film. Lots of it.

Fourth, you need batteries - for the camera, for the flash. Bring at least one replacement set for each battery-powered unit you plan to use and have new batteries installed when you start.

Fifth, though possibly hard to use, a tripod.

Sixth, some kind of ladder.

Seventh, and the most important, bring your PATIENCE.

Lose the light meter as you probably won't have time to catch the action. Of course, you could want it for the formal portraits if they're in the deal.
