wedding photo nerves hi everyone just joined this site, and im a bundle of nerves, my next door neighbour wants me to shoot her wedding, all I have is a olympus 770 dig with 256k mem and 2 batteries, what am I going to do, I have taken shots at car shows before, and the most shots I have taken in one day is 130, the other thing is do they all have to be in high res or can I lower the res a bit to fit more photos on the mem card, really scared as cars dont talk back and dont move. can anyone help me michelle

Personal I have 1,5 GB memory when I shoot. I would´t do it with less.

Michelle, This is a very good oppertunity if done right. Please, even the best of friends and family should have a contract(especialy if you 1st-3rd) stating your experiance level and that photography is a art form and that as such the value of some shots may differ between artist and client. Now , you have a few things to prepare: 1) you need to know the required poses, since the release of my new CD on wedding poses-I only send those who request posing lists the short one- but I will send it.And you need to get to know them. 2) where is this to be held and what time? most likely you will need more fill light- this can be done by watching ebay for some used flash units and using them slaved off camera on tripods. 3) and most important you need to relize that you will have to go willing to take controll of the situation when it comes time to take the portraits- this can be difficult but is a must-because they don't relilize all that you need to take and they themselves have time limits. And well wishers want thier shots and are in the way- so all this said it is importrant that you go willing to take controll and fulfil your job. I hope this can be a little help, Debby Tabb

again as I said in her other question. Anyone who can take the time in studio or out to do staged posed shots of a bridel party should get great results-it's at the wedding that you have to be on target. hope this helps you understand that others may have different needs then yourself- we all know you have seperate needs. thank you for the opertunity to explain
