Photography Question

Color problem

All,

I am using a digital camera. I've shot several sunset/sunrise pictures and the color in the photo did not turn out to be the same as the real sunset/sunrise view that I saw. The real sunset/sunrise view was more beautiful than the photo. Is this a problem with my camera or is this due to my lack of experience at shooting sunset/sunrise pictures? I am using Kodak EasyShare DX6340. I used the "landscape" mode to shoot it.

Thanks.

Could it be the camera automatically set the white balance to "tunsgen"? Can you manually set the white balance to "day light"? Just a thought.

There is no option on my camera to adjust the white balance.

Thanks.

Actually, it looks like you can.

Sorry, not sure how to make this a hot link on this forum.

I found it and will try to take some pictures by using the "daylight" white balance. The default is set to "auto".

Thanks.
