Rodeo photography I am interested in techniques for rodeo photography. My problem is the low level of lightning at most of the smaller rodeo arenas. The smaller shows happen at night. My shutter speed and flash was not fast enough for 8 second events or the roping events. Is my only solution to get portrait lighting? Any help is apprecisted. Linda

hey linda, sharon barberee does some rodeo shoots,i think her last post was on page 12.she got some good shots,but she had a 2.8 lens.i may be imposing on her without her permission,i hope not.maybe look at her gallery and then contact her. hth sam
