picture of watertower

hoosier here,
i searched q&a,but it really didn't answer my question, probably did but my mind is still swimming from the question on lens numbers.
i took a picture from the town park,of the town watertower.why?the light was right!plus!it has a picture of a comic strip character and a movie star on it.i don't plan on selling it.could I post it in my gallery?
on a side note I just posted a picture of a zinnia in my garden i've been stalking to get the right light.no photoshop,no extra lights,film/35mm,5:30am,no coffee.
thanks,sam

I would say put it in. After all, movie stars, like politicians, have fewer restrictions on the use of their images than the rest of us and I assume this may apply to cartoon characters as well. Also, you aren't trying to make a lot of money off the image. About the most anyone can do is to ask you to remove it, which they won't.

I took another look at your gallery. You really have some beautiful photos there.
