Photography Question

April A. Tchiguka

Need feedback on photographs!

Hi everyone!
I'd like any and every one to give me some feedback on my photos. And don't be shy. I need truthful comments so that I can grow as an artist.
I seem to sell a lot of work at local art shows but am having a difficult time selling on my website. I have quite a few people visiting it since I launched it April 2004 and have received many complements on my work. I'm quickly understanding where the term "starving artist" comes from! I need to make some money! I'd apprciate any feedback about the photos, or where to sell my photos. I'm getting tired of the local art shows. I want to go national or international! :)
I did have a photo win high honors and be published in Nature's Best Photography magazine but I want more exposure!!
Thanks for all your help!!

  hey april,
i really liked all your flower shots, great detail and color.
cats,i really don't like cats,and boy you have a lot.i guess they're good,but that's a very specific market.
most of your animal and nature pics look like they were taken at high noon, really bad light, harsh or a little washed out.
maybe you'd like to do pet photography?
i've only sold a few enlargements,so yeah it's a tough market,if I quit my job I would starve!
your gallery is very long, maybe you should cut it back a little.
it's too bad others didn't look and give you some of their opinions.mine is just one,so keep shooting and take care, sam
