how to get the same color quality as Nikon IF you own a canon, Ive matched the color of nikon by changing the Saturation to plus 1. Over the weedkend my friend and I shot 2 weddings. She had her laptop with her so we compared shots. Her colors were richer than mine (blues, greens, reds...) So I kept playing with functions until they matched up. Now you cant tell who took what photo, until you look at the name on the chip. I also played with sharpness and contrast at + 1 which improved overall quality.

That was done on my 20D. Caution, do not try sharpness on the MarkII, you will see all the pores on the face. As for Saturation, unless they are really tan (use portrait mode). And for details and nice color shots(without people) like the nikon (use HSaturation mode).

There is no Tamara Lynn. Go away, you pesty name-changing troll! You're busted, again. Your gallery is full of photos you didn't take, so your "© Tamara Lynn" attached to each is a fraud and an actionable copyright infringement. Your "Redbird" photo was lifted directly from www.airliners.net, and it isn't yours, it belongs to Jérôme Mervelet.

Oops - sorry. It's not exactly the same photo. I appologize for jumping to a conclusion. But your post reminded me of someone.

Don't apologize Jon. Even if the photo you found doesn't match, your hunch was still correct. "Tamara" is still our all-too familiar name-changer. I have no doubt. This account started as "Bruce" something, then changed to "Dr. Evil" when another thread went downhill. He is also using an account called "Sara Mitchell".

Hey Chris, I think it's funny that Dr. Evil never really asks questions but just pops in to brag about his Mark II and how to match colors with Nikon. I mean it might be good info, but considering the source I really would rather to find this stuff out on my own. Anyways Dr. Evil this site is intended for HUMBLE experienced photographers to help out amateur photographers. *Obviously there's more to this site than that but the forum is a giant part along with the contests and the courses.* Well anyways Dr. Evil I'm not sure why you keep changing your names to the fake individuals but whenever your decide to quit acting like a child, we'll be more than happy to be nice to you in our community. V/r Justin

I get a big kick out of this website. When I first signed up it was so dead ( like flat lighting). I used to think Jerry was over dramatic, but he stomped out of here one day because he lost the floor. Now Chris Vader has taken over his position. Boys will be boys
