Question about battery grips. Hey everyone. I have such a lame question. I have the 20D and I was looking into battery grips. The BG-E2 states that it can hold (2)BP-511A batteries or six AA. My question is. If I purchase the grip, does that mean that I can use one 511A and six AA for back up or is it one or the other. Either use two 511A's or just six AA's? Sorry for such a newbie question. Any information is great. Thanks in advance.

The BG-E2 fills the battery compartment of the 20D in place of the single BP-511A. It's not possible to load a battery in the 20D and attach the BG-E2 at the same time. With the BG-E2 attached, you can only load the batteries into it. Either two BP-511/512, or six AAs. You cannot mix one BP-511 with 3 AAs.
