It always helps to check the little box to display an upload. Notwithstanding, I still wasn't able to just upload for the response to this question.

I set the tripod infront of me at the baseball stadium...manual settings f/11, 3.2 secs, and iso 100, when the first firework went off I pointed the camera in that direction and just kept pushing the button gently as often as the camera would let me......

I took about 50 shots, maybe 12 have potential, I only thought 4 were good without doing more than just a crop, here's one.

Bob, are you "signed in" on the website before you answer/add a photo? I used to have great conversations with myself if I tried to answer/add before signing in because it makes you sign in between answer and photo adding but it takes the answer anyway.....

  Robert,
I know all about the "signing-in first" part,... I did that and got an error message. Only my response went through, not the photos.

Anyway, I just finished posting some of my keepers on my Website..(under "Fire on High").
If anyone is interested in seeing them the first 14 were from this year,..the rest were last year. (I welcome everone's comments.)
Bob

Nice shots Deb!! Finally got my stuff up guys. Here they are. My favorite is Independence 1! And to all who submitted. Your pics are awesome. I hope you all had fun while you were doing this. It started raining here so we had to bag the cameras and we started walking and we got to this church on post here and the rain stopped. Must've been a sign!! Anyways we setup and shot away just in time! Can't wait to see the rest of BPers when the put 'em on this thread.

Justin

Although I saw the magnificent Macy's firework, I have no photos to share. I watch it on TV ;) I have seen quite a few people entered their firework photos in this month's contest. If you haven't done so, hurry up.

I will give it a shot. This is my first 4th of trying to take pictures. Hopefully they are enjoyable to you as they were to me. A project that was as stressful as exciting. Shooting digital with long exposures waiting for them to process and feelinmg as though you are missing the best fireworks. everyone that has posted has great shots
