shadows on face I had just taken some shots of my son's baseball team players and the sun was behind me when I took the pic. and they all had a dark shadow on their faces. How would I position them so that this would not happen again and also is there a way of lightening the shadows on their faces in Adobe Photo Shop?

They were all wearing their hats, I'll bet. Next time have them take them off or tilt them back as to allow sufficient light in. You can also use your dodge tool in PS to try and bring out some of the detail in the shadows. Using a flash can also help whith small groups.
