Mid July Colorado Picture sites I'm heading to Colorado in Mid July and wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for photo opportunity locations, specifically I'd like to get some wildflower/fields of wildflower shots. Thanks, Joe

Hey Joe, I just hiked around red rocks with my sons today and the paint brush flowers were spectacular. Although by mid July these might be gone. You might have to go into the high country for mid July. Crested butte for maroon bells. Steamboat, basically anywhere above 9,000 or 10,000 feet you will have awesome luck! Hope this helps :o) If you have a REI near you you can pick up a colorado hiking book for wild flowers or have one ordered in. I know that they carry one.
