Photography Question

New pictures in my gallery

I don't usually do this, but I've just added a couple dozen pictures to my gallery from a recent trip to the Mississippi coast.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

I went thru a zoooooooming phase last year. I always missed getting the person/object to stay basically focused and the rest of the photo blurred. I really like the little girl zoom..:-)

Of the sea critters, Sea Lion 3 is my favorite. Love the teeth! The colors and exposure are especially nice in Hammock 02. Bubble Buddies 02 is so great because the kids are totally oblivious to you. And I really love Beach Buddies---summer beach trips personified. All in all a wonderful group of photos Chris.

Thanks for the look Bob, Connie & Debbie.

Debbie - the zoom effect was not done on the computer. It was done by zooming the lens during a long exposure.

Chris, These look really close to home. A day at Marine Life paid off. The dolphins are in very good focus in spite of their apparent motion. I think I recognize the boat on the beach.
Keep up the good work (what am I talking about? This isn't work, is it?).

  Thanks John.

I knew I had seen a gallery with pictures from the MS coast, but I couldn't remember who it was.

My inlaws have a place a couple of blocks off the beach in Waveland. We get over there several times during the summer. I hadn't been to Marine Life since I was a kid, though. We had a good time, and the kids loved it.

Those dolphins are tough. They swim really fast under the water, and you don't always know where they're going to pop out. I had lots and lots of shots that didn't make the cut.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Chris, you sure did and alot in a hurry,HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Anyway I really liked Beach Buddies, and BB #1, Hammock#2 and Sealion 03. I also liked Dolphins 1 and did a removal of the upside down dolphin I thought it was to distracting and wanted to focus on the two dolphins+the splash. I hope you don't mind, It's just a suggestion!!

Thanks for the look and the suggestion, Daniel. I might try to work with that image a little more.

Kerry - I'm guessing you mean the Happy Couple picture? No, that's my wife's brother and his wife. They're moving away soon, and she asked me last night if I had any decent shots of the two of them that she could give to her mom. I told her I thought this one might do. She hasn't seen it yet. I need to get her a print.
