Proof sorting program?

I recently had someone suggest to me this super fast proof sorting program that inputs the pictures on to one sheet of paper, puts the file name under the picture, includes a copyright mark, and even had a background desing....the only problem is I can't think of the guys name that created it.... Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Lots of programs do this. Photoshop is one, BreezeBrowser, Iview, and ACDSee, and a bunch of others. But, they also do much, much more than that too. That's the smallest of things that they will do for you.

Hi Jerry...thanks for the response. I have photoshop and currently use it to do my proofs, but haven't found a way for it to grab the files and put them on to each page with the file name without having to manually do this each time. I have created a template, but this is taking me on average 1 - 1 1/2 hours for each client. Do you know how to do that in PS?

Like Henry said. It's very easy. Although, the copyright is very tricky. Lots of people have problems with that. But, I think you can create that with an action of some sort in the batch process while it's making your contact sheets.

Before my photos go public, I've started to place my copyright on the photo.
To make this task simplier, I've created a paintbrush which I simply stamp on the photo. See sample at pbase.com/henryt .
To make this, use the type tool and write your name. Now use the Shape tool and select the copyright symbol. This is usually placed berfore your name. Now flatten the layers. With the Rectangular marque tool, outline your name and go Edit-Define brush set. Keep the default discription or write in your own discription. Now you can stamp your own mark on your photos by selecting the paintbrush and also selecting your brush.

Henry, I just tried your method and it is awesome. The way I've been doing it took so much longer. Thanks.
