Night Photography


 
 
Well, I know this question has been asked a million times, but, I am not having much success with night shots of moving vehicles, or anything at night. My pictures are coming out very grainy/hazy looking and not very sharp. I used a Canon Rebel 35mm and a manual AE-1 to take different shots and almost none worked out. The one that came close was shot at 8 sec. at 5.6. Rebel had ISO 800 and AE-1 had ISO 400UC. Any pointers you can give me?

Kerry L. Walker 		  Looks to me like you are picking up way too much ambient light. Try using a smaller aperature - much smaller.

Brad R. Stewart 		  Thanks for the tip, I'll give that a shot next time out, with lower ISO film speed too. Nice sunset photos, by the way!
