Help qusestion with contest If you want to put an existing photo that is in your gallery into the contest what do you do? I am putting in the no. of the photo in the photo ID. box and pressing the submit your photo button? Do you fill out the title name, description, contest area and camera also when doing this along with photo ID box? I am doing something wrong. It is not working. Kerby Yesterday I messed up the whole entry process and did not get one in.

Hi Kerby, As far as I know you just fill in the photo ID and the catogory you want to enter it in.. unless you have just this minute uploaded it to your gallery, then it might show a few pages behind on the recent enteries page as it goes by when you uploaded it to your gallery, and not when you entered it into the contest... (i think!) Rachel

Rachel it not showing up in my current contest entries? Plus I can not find it in the recent entries. When I bring up the enter the contest the little photo ID box is still there, It like I have not put anything in. Yesterday I really messed up and I do not want to do it again. Kerby

Hello Kerby and Rachel, My experience: I too was looking for my picture a week ago, and thought it hadn't uploaded correctly. But as Rachel says...it has its own ID-nr., and it does show up a few pages behind on the recent entries if it's been in your gallery for a while. Jenny

Kerby, Maybe it would be best not to use the photo ID thing. I normally upload the pic again without using the ID thing as I dont like the way that if its already in you gallery it doesn't show on the recent enteries first page. RAchel

Kerby, just wanted to check that you did put the contest catogory in as well as the pic ID? I'm sure you did but I was just thinking that as you dont have to fill anything else in, maybe you forgot it? it would be easy to overlook... Rachel

Rachel I do not want to reload it. It has almost fifty comments on it. Than I put ENTER TO BEAUTY 9 in today and it did not go into the contest. These are nature and landscape images. I just want to put it in from my gallery to the contest. I am afraid to do anything yesterday I messed up big time. I loaded Enter To Beauty 8 into the contest it did not go through so I reloaded and went through the second time. I deleated one out so I did not have two in my gallery and it also deleated the contest entry. I did not have an entry yesterday. I messing up somehow.

Kerby, I didn't see you or any responder say that you MUST also check the box Check here to indicate you've read and agree to our Terms and Conditions. Maybe thats the problem. Keep tryin. The system has always worked OK for me. John

After you put the photo ID no in the box. Do you fill the other information out? Or do you leave it blank? Kerby

Leave them blank, Kerby, but do select the category to make sure it goes in the right one. Also, mark "Term & Condition" and "Notify" boxes.

Kerby you put the photo Id in, contest catagory and tick the terms and conditions.... thats all... Rachel

Nobi, Rachel and Heather I did what you said and it worked. The system put the entry into the contest in the current contest listing in my member center. It was not showing up as an entry until I followed your directions. Thank you so much. Kerby

Thanks Rachel, I try the same procedure tomorrow since I put Enter TO beauty 9 into my gallery today but not the contest. I have another I have to do it with too. I may put that in fresh. It almost like keeping track of a classroom full of kids. Kerby

Kerby, I also wanted to add that if you would rather take the entry off and reload it, you can simply select all your comments along with the names of who wrote them and copy and paste them into the new entry.
