Right angle on lap top LCDs I have a lap top. Of course, there is an LCD monitor on it! But, when I shift the angles (up - down) the image on LCD changes (from darker to brighter). I usually adjust the angle somwhere in the middle of the angle path. When I process the images they look good to me, but when I look at them on some other monitor they look darker then on my monitor. The brightness setting on my LCD is one stop below peak level, so that is obviously not the problem. The question is: WHAT IS THE MOST ACURATE ANGLE OF LCD MONITOR FOR THE MOST ACURATE IMAGE? Tnx

This is one major drawback to LCD monitors compared to CRT's. The "correct" angle for viewing an LCD panel is to be exactly perpendicular to the screen. Difficult at best. However, if you're serious about any kind of image editing, I'd strongly suggest you get and use a CRT monitor instead. It can be hooked up to your laptop, along with a mouse while at home. I would NOT recommend using a laptop as-is with its LCD monitor and built-in finger-touch mouse for any serious image work. Michael H. Cothran www.mhcphoto.net
