Can I enter some old pictures? Hi! I just joined BP and had a question about entering pictures in the photo contest. Do they HAVE to be recent pictures? I have some pictures I took 10-12 years ago, when my children were small, and I'd was wondering if I could still enter them in the contest? I'm going to try to add them to my gallery today, but I'll wait for a response before I attempt to enter them in the contest. thanks!

I have never entered a photo in the contest but I don't see where it matters. No one will ask you the age of the picture and I doubt they care. Go ahead and enter them. BTW, how old do you think the B&W Church picture in my gallery is?

The oil shock (that's the way Japanese used to say... :D), the oil crises was early 70's, right?... By the time I was driving cars in the U.S., someone said I was driving a tank... It was a New Yorker (don't remember the year, and I think it was a thing of beauty once) I got from a co-worker very cheap... a car he could not get rid of it, even tried to trade it... so, I got it... lol.. Robert, funny the way you brought it up..., i'm sure you are thinking of one of those most beloved freign cars...

Robert, you are correct. 1968. Had to check the original photo to see the car as the uploaded image is nowhere nearly as clear as the original. It was a VW Bug.

Woo Hoo! I couldn't really tell about the small car. A friend of mine in high school (mid 60s)had one of those cars, 2 seater, where the door was the front of the car....you opened the door and the steering wheel/dashboard/everything came out....Can't remember what it was, tho.
