What do I do with darkroom chemicals after use? I am in the process of planning a new darkroom. However, before I get too carried away, I would like to know what I'm supposed to do with the developer, stop bath, etc. once I've finished a darkroom session. What do I do with exhausted chemicals? I have well water and I don't think dumping them down the toilet is a great idea for me. I'm afraid of water poisoning or something. Please help! Thanks! John

I usually just pour the exhausted chemicals down the drain. Plus you dont pour them out very often, usually the developer,stop bath, and fixer last about two monthes or more depending on what battles you have them in, so you use them more than once.
