Medium Format Cameras Can anyone recommend a good automatic/manual medium format TLR camera? (one that can allow various lenses to be attached to the camera)? Is there such a camera?

Susan, In modern times, there has only been ONE interchangeable-lens TLR. That is the Mamiya. There were several versions of it over the course of a few decades. The top-of-the-line was the "3" series. Chronologically, from the mid 1960's, these were the C3, C33, C330, C330f, and C330s. The latest version, the C330s was discontinued several years ago. Mamiya also produced a "stripped down" version, which were the C2, C22, and C220 (I would not buy the "2" series at all). Sadly, these TLR's are no longer made, but can be had for a song used. I have owned a few of them over the years - C33, and a couple of C330f's. They worked great, a delivered the expected medium format quality. In my opinion, they are the best way into medium format photography. Be warned though - these are heavy cameras! My advise - if you are going to buy one, stick with either the C330, C330f or C330s. Also, I'd stick with the later model multi-coated versions of their lenses, or at least the "black" versions. Don't buy the older "chrome" versions. They're great cameras at great prices. Enjoy. To the best of my knowledge, no. The old Mamiya C3, C33, etc. were manual and had changeable lenses, no automation. Rollei still makes a TLR, with manual and automation, with an awesome lens, but it is fixed. Seagull makes a TLR but I am not sure the word good applies. Qualitiy is a sometimes thing.
