Text and Copyright questions

I am new to the business and starting to get a lot of request. I have done some photos and would like to put my name and the copyright on the photo. I thought about embossing it onto the photos. Should I do this to the proofs and to the ones they buy. You know like say what Olan Mills does. How is this done these days. I would like for people to see these pictures down the line and see that it was me that had taken them. So then they may even give me a call. How are you guys doing text on photos and proofs. All ideas please.TIA!!!!

How you do this will depend upon how well known you are.
Are they bying just your photos or are they interested in your name and reputation as well?

I put a sticker on the back of the prints and enlargements I sell which has the copyright logo along with my name, web address, and contact info.
On the printed side, is all photo...corner to corner.
My pictures are good but I'm no Ansel Adams...(at least not yet). :)
