Why is my photo uploading like this? I tried to upload my "Harley Green Eyes" picture for this month's photo contest and to my dismay, it uploaded like a TV screen gone bad. Will someone please look at my entry and help me figure out why this happened???

I filed three different ways: Harley Green Eyes.jpeg Harley Green Eyes.JPG Harley_Green_Eyes.JPG respectively. They are all uploading the same way.

Makes a Great Abstract Cynthia!LOL!! One Photo Per Day Whether You Deleted It Or Not,Im Not Really Sure Check Your Dimensions And File Size For Being Correct And That It Is An 8 Bit Image.

Thanks, Terry. I was able to get it uploaded. I had to change the file size...or something. Not quite sure what I did...but it worked :).

Hi Cynthia, Although I didn't see your image, from how you described the upload, it does sound like your image was a 16 bit Tiff image. Terry is correct, be sure that your image is 8 bit otherwise your upload will be distorted. Be sure to let me know if you have further questions. Thanks, heather at betterphoto.com
