You have done a good job with these photos. You have placed the subject off center, which is good. I really like Beautiful and Windy. By the way, that is a beautiful child. Is she your daughter?

  Hi Kerry,

Thank you for your response.

I am just a hobby photograher but I am trying to improve and just need some suggestions. Plus I new to this site and have only been on here for 3 days.

Kerry, This is a friend's daughter. The little girl is just so stunning and it is just fun to take picture's of her.

You have posed her well and made good use of the shadows. Good locations. Where were these shot?

  Hi Kerry,

Windy and Beautiful and shot high in the mountains.

Goofy the one with her jumping and making the funny face was shot with her jumping from a wall of a flower bed.

Biker Girl was shot near a corn field.

The puppy picture and the headshot were shot near an old building.

Horse picture was her horse and shot at her home.

All the pictures were shot in Wyoming.

I figured it must be somewhere out West. My wife is from NM and I have been all over NM, AZ, CO, WY, etc. but it has been a few years.

  Hi Kerry,

I looked over your portfolio and I really like your Niagra Falls and the Sunset at the beach images.

Both very beautiful and very well done.

  Hi Kerry,

I put a photo I had already uploaded a few days ago into the contest today (BIKER GIRL) and it came up on the ninth page of people. Never did see it in the new contest entries.

Yesterday I put a photo in I uploaded the same day (PUPPY) it came up on the first page of people and the first page of the new entries.

I had to hunt for (Biker Girl) to make sure it went into the contest.

Any idea's of how this works?

Kerby

  Hi,Kerby....
When you place a photo on this website, it is given an ID number at the moment it is uploaded, that number does not change. So if you enter it into the contest a day or two later from your gallery by it's ID number, it still retains the same original number. So it is filed in the contest numerically. Since many other images have been uploaded to the site since your upload, whether in galleries or the contest, your ID number stays the same and gets further and further (or is it farther?) down the list.
I hope this makes sense...:-)

I loaded several the first day not understand this.

Robert would it be better to pull an image off of the site that you want to put in the contest and reload it? That way it would go into the new enties. Or is this something that is acceptable.

I believe so. Delete it from the site, then reload it into your gallery and at the same time enter it into the contest. I think...:-)

  Hi Robert,

That is a good idea. I have a couple images I want to put in the contest that I put in earlier. That way they come through the new contest gallery.

Thanks for the idea.

Kerby
